How are Lip Hydration Boosters Different to Fillers?

Although there are similarities with a lip hydration boosters and lip fillers, they are slightly different. Lip boosters do not alter the shape or structure of the lips, the hyaluronic acid is a low viscosity, so it works to hydrate areas where the lips are dry and there is slight thinning of the skin decreasing the appearance of fine lines. Similarly to a skin booster injection they provide hydration, soften the lips, and give a more youthful pout.

How are Lip Hydration Boosters Different to Fillers

Lip hydration boosters are injectable hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the skin, it is a molecule that is hydrophilic this means that water molecules are attracted to it. Hyaluronic acid is compound that contributes to the hydration of the skin. By injecting lip boosters into the skin, the hyaluronic acid attracts water molecules and hydrates the skin of the lips.

Lip hydration boosters are for anyone who is worrying about a more aged appearance to the lips and want to nourish and hydrate the lips without altering the shape or structure of the lips.

Lip hydration boosters are administered into the skin superficially. So, it is safe and comes with minimal discomfort. Injection site bruising is highly unlikely, but it can happen. Commonly occurring minimal side effects (redness, swelling, pain, tenderness, and itching) are manageable and self-limiting.

As the product is an injectable, there will be some light swelling initially, this will settle within the first couple of days.
